FAQ #24

I removed the pads to substitute them, but I am not able to place them again. What can I do?

Please follow the indicated procedure:

  1. Take the pads off
  2. Open the bleeding screw and insert one syringe inside the hole
  3. The syringe will absorb the excessive oil, otherwise you can also use a rag for this purpose, just taking care that the oil won’t get the brakes dirty
  4. Push the pistons back, being sure they arrive until their complete end
  5. Place again the OLD pads (no need to substitute them)
  6. Take off the syringe from the hole. The remaining oil should be at the same level of the hole and to be sure of this, please note that when you will screw in the bleeding screw, a little bit of oil (but really a few) should be discharged.
